Early Steps [Part 2 of who knows?]
Nearly a week later and I've managed to finish the outside of the mansion, as well as started to make the very first cutscene, as shown in the images above. It's supposed to not have spoken word. After all, the best stories sometimes go mute, and images may be enough to convey why everything happens.
If you think that Hallow using his chainsaw to cut open a present that he doesn't know what is inside is extra, weird and perhaps more than a little careless of him, I've got a lot of news for you...
Now onto the tecnological devtalk. I've decided, via demand, to add the quips. However, I had thought up of something that, unfortunately. may not be achievable with my (lack of) skills using rpg maker. This would be simply an icon that would pop up over an object/npc to tell that you can talk/see/quip/interact whenever you are nearby, so you could know for sure which items are interactable. Problem is that most plugins with such a mechanic don't take into account non-tile movement, so I might have to do without it. Pity.
Meanwhile, the intro music is also done. However, you can't upload music to itch.io yet so you can listen. Oh well.
